Mwana is a young man from Bantuland, currently living in Geneva, having moved to Switzerland a few years earlier. Mwana lost his sales job and is struggling to find work. He has one foot in each culture. He sees Swiss society through African eyes, with all its contradictions: its moderation, stunning landscapes and its trains (not always on time) and its eccentricities, but also its intolerance and inflexibility. Having become a little Swiss from his years living in the country, he also casts a critical eye on his native Africa, and the weight of its traditions and beliefs.
